Shooting architectures with a 50mm has its limits, but because of this limit I am force to become more creative. Shooting the museum is such an example. Because the building is so long, I can only get sections of the museum with my 50mm. So today I went for the extreme. I took a total of 8 shots, starting from one end of the building to the other end. I called it a “hand held panoramic”. Then I imported the 8 photos in to Adobe Photoshop Automate Photomerge. After Photoshop finish merging the 8 photos in to layers, I then saved as JPG. After I was done with my “hand held panoramic”, it seems the width was too long to display on my page. At this point I took the pano photo in to Adobe After Effect and added a pan effect to give it this scrolling effect.
